My family and I moved to Scottsdale in 2015 from Houston, Texas. I started bowling around the age of 7. My grandparents used to take me to the bowling alley with them in the 80’s when they would bowl in their leagues, so I grew up with the sport from a very young age. After college my life took me away from the sport, chasing other dreams across the US, so I didn’t get back into bowling seriously until early 2025. Now as a father, my son (12) is into the sport on a competitive level, so it’s been such an amazing experience to be able to share the lanes with him as he continues to learn and grow in bowling. I’m just an average bowler, nothing big under my belt. I’m just a 190+ average, with a 287 high game, and 720 high series.

  1. Favorite thing to do outside of bowling and why?
My favorite things to do outside of bowling are backpacking, and camping. The outdoors has always been a huge part of our lives, between hiking all over Arizona, and camping as a family, I go on big multi-day backpacking trips all over southern and northern Arizona as often as possible.
  2. Favorite movie of all time and why?
My favorite movie of all time would have to be Donnie Brasco.
  3. Favorite bowling ball of all time and why?
My favorite bowling ball of all time would have to be a Black Widow (almost all of them). They have been such a consistent ball over the years, and I have always kept one in my bag! Currently, it’s the Black Widow Mania. It has become the ball that I can make subtle surface adjustments, up or down, or polished, and it becomes whatever monster I need it to be at the time!
  4. Sports fan? favorite teams? and why?
My favorite sports teams are the Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Reds, and Houston Astros! Been a diehard baseball fan since I was a little kid, Cincinnati (born in OH) and Houston (grew up there since I was 6 years old) have always been my teams! I loved the Packers as a kid because of all the snow games, and everyone wearing cheeseheads, so I stuck with them since the late 1980’s!
  5. Your favorite thing about your job at Virtue and why?
My favorite thing about my job at Virtue is helping the customers find what is going to be the best fit for their needs and goals out on the lanes. Every customer is different, so I really enjoy getting to know all the bowlers from working at multiple locations, and helping the youth bowlers along the way too, and growing the sport!
  6. If you had to describe your personality in one word, what would it be?
    Limitless.
