Bowling Bio:

I wanted to go bowling one day, so I went to my local bowling center. My dad saw a "now hiring" sign at the bowling center and because he had past experience in the trade, so he applied and got a job. He was a very accomplished bowler with over thirty 300 games and a handful of 800's. With my father's employee discounts and expertise as a bowler, I quickly found myself getting intrested in a sport where the "elements" are invisible. From there, I got into my first league and quickly discovered the Junior Bowlers Tour (JBT) where my passion for bowling really took off. When I got to know and bowl with my peers, it really got me into the sport at another level. I had quite a bit of success as a junior, but as I graduated high school and got introduced to the "real world" bowling got put on the back burner for a while. I have been back and bowling again for a few years now and am hoping to reach the same level of success that I experienced as a junior bowlers.

Get To Know Your Driller:
  1. Favorite thing to do outside of bowling and why?
I really enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I have always enjoyed mainting close relationships with my friends and seeing how they are doing. I also think the only way to have a good time is with other people!
  2. Favorite movie of all time and why?
The Great Gatsby because Leo is god. Joking, kind of, but he is really good. On a more serious note, I have always been interested in that time period where there wasn't as much technology and a lot more interaction between people.
  3. Favorite bowling ball of all time and why?
The one I just drilled, because I just drilled it.
  4. Sports fan? favorite teams? and why?
Yes, I am into sports a little. My favorite sport besides bowling (because it is a sport), is soccer. That was my other big sport growling up as kid and I was more into soccer than bowling for a most of my youth. However, a fractured pelvis (hip) had me sitting out from soccer for awhile. Also, not to mention the doctor told me that even after healed, the injury would impact my ability to play, which it did. There is no question that injury made bowling my main sport.
  5. Your favorite thing about your job at Virtue and why?
My favorite thing is feeling like I was the only person that could have helped someone improve at bowling. At previous jobs, what I did anyone could do. There was a procedure that I was doing step by step, that anyone could have done. At Virtue we put indvidiualized service at such a high priority that each answer I give to a customer is different thent the next is based on the context of that customers certain situation, so when they improve and get better, I feel like I, indvidually, made an impact.
  6. If you had to describe your personality in one word, what would it be?
    Outgoing
